My name is Evelyne Mukashyaka. I'm Rwandan and I am dance instructor. I teach dance at Mindleaps (contemporary, jazz and ballet) since 2016 and do choreography. Now  I teach Pre-ballet, ballet 1,2,3,4 and 5 and City Arts. I just love to dance and teach as well!

Lauren

Hello all, my name is Lauren and I'm from Chicago, Illinois USA. I've lived in Kigali since 2013, and I love having a place to dance! I work as a freelance journalist, and I'm also a violinist, so I'm often amidst doing something creative!  I've been dancing ballet since I was teeny tiny, and then branched out to other forms of dance like hip hop when I hit my teenage years. I love to dance, teach and choreograph, and City Arts is a great place to do it all! Pre-Ballet, Ballet I, II, III, IV, Hip Hop  

Nina

Nina graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in the United States receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. She has been dancing since the age of three with a focus on Modern/Contemporary dance and Tap dance. She moved to Rwanda in November of 2015 to be with her husband and has since been on a never-ending search for any opportunities to perform, create and share dance with the community in Kigali. Pascal

My name is Pascal UWAYEZU, Rwandese, studied Agriculture in Advanced level. I am a professional acrobat and a gymnast. I am currently working at City arts as an acrobatics and gymnastics instructor, Tumbling/gymnastics at Green Hills Academy and USAG floor gymnastics at International School of Kigali Rwanda. City Arts is the best place for children to start with acrobatics and gymnastics.

Pieter

Dutch actor, theatre director & drama teacher Pieter Ruigrok van der Werve performed his first professional theatre production in 1994 (My Fair Lady, to be precise). Since then he played over 600 performances, taught drama at the School of Performing Arts of the Hanze university, and directed plays. In Rwanda since 2014, Pieter runs his consultancy for the performing arts (Thespis), has several clients, aiming to provide continuity in drama education.
